Heavenly, sidereal, astral. Aetherium’s home fragrances are the invisible cord that links the physical and celestial worlds, perfumes that open the door to a world of fantasy and unknown sensations.
Their aromas, invisible only to the eye , mirror the moments, memories and emotions that make us who we are.
Following a tradition, Barbara created the brand Aetherium, transforming a knowledge of chemistry into the magical art of master perfumers.
Still today, her work is inspired by the joy of renewing the union between an enticing fragrance and aesthetic beauty, resulting in an alchemy that transforms itself into a dream.
All of Aetherium’s original fragrances are the fruit of accurate philological research that has taken Barbara to the origins of perfume, from Paris to the true cradle of European perfumeries: Tuscany.
In the sixteenth century, the use of perfumes was extremely popular in the Italian court; in fact, it was Caterina de’ Medici who, by marrying the future King of France, Duca Enri co d’Orléans in 1533, brought with her a precious dowry including her personal perfumer: the Italian Renato Bianco.
The French nobility embraced this novelty as a new and refined way to stand out, and soon the art of perfumery found some of its greatest masters, Bianco’s alumni (renamed René le Florentin).
Precisely to honour this historical origin, Barbara decided to bring Aetherium to life, creating her own line of fragrances in Italy: a land of beauty, where feminine grace and sensitivity create original masterpieces of quality perfumes that combine luxury and singularity.
